For a while, I have been a paying subscriber to Quuu. This is a company that offers content scheduling, curation and recycling services. When I first signed up, they offered content curation services only, so the product has expanded in functionality.

Quuu:  How it works

Their initial service offering solved the problem I had when in the first few months of my business, I had very little content to share on social media. The solution is simple: pay a subscriber fee, choose topics for the curated content, connect your social media channels through Buffer (which I’ve been using for more than 2 years), and Quuu will auto-populate your social media queue. Hence the name; it creates a queue for you.

From the perspective of the customer who pays Quuu to have content to share: you can control the topics of the shared content, you can control how many times a day/week you’d like content shared, you can get an overview of your queue and shuffle content around, and you can delete any articles you don’t want shared on your profiles. All of these variables can be edited at any time, and your queue will automatically adjust to take your edits into account.

Quuu:  The Business Model

Where the interesting business model comes in: Quuu needs content to promote, and you can pay the company to promote your content. This means that your blog posts and news articles can be amongst those articles shared on other people’s/businesses’ social media accounts.

Obviously, it depends on the topic(s) of your content – and whether that topic is chosen often by those who are sharing the content – how much reach the articles will receive. It also hugely depends on the audience of those sharing whether your article will be clicked on and read.

Essentially, Quuu has 2 customer bases: those who pay for content to be curated and scheduled for them, and those who are paying for their content to be shared far and wide by people around the world. All of this is done for the customers on auto-pilot, and you can have as much or as little control as you’d like.

Quuu:  Why it Works

People and businesses need to consistently share useful, interesting, high-value content on social media. Quuu meets that need. Experts and thought leaders need to have their content seen and read by increasing amounts of people to grow their audience. Quuu meets that need as well.

Quuu works with your social media scheduling system to auto-populate your queue so that the whole process is simple and relatively effortless. I’ve been able to find interesting content to read that was written by people I didn’t know existed, just by using Quuu. So, I’ve been able to learn from others, which is very important to me. In fact, I’ve written a blog post about why consistent learning is important for business owners.

I also believe in making my life on social media as easy as possible. Happily, Quuu meets that requirement as well.
